The Occupational and Environmental Health Laboratory (OEHL) joined the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology (Faculty of Science) under Brian McCarry in July 2006.  OEHL was established by Dave Verma in 1979 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario to provide occupational hygiene services to industry, labour and the general public. Our website's goal is to provide information in all our areas of service, research, and education. Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have.

New Laboratory Hours

Effective February 14, 2012 the OEHL hours of business will be Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm.

If you wish to drop off samples after hours, our drop box is available. Please contact the laboratory for instructions on using the drop box.
